Located within 1/2 mile of the Jersey Shore hub of the
Pine Creek Rail Trail. This trail was included in USA Today's "101 Great Places to Take a Bike Tour." The 67-mile trail cuts through Pine Creek Gorge or “Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon” at a 2% grade from Ansonia to Waterville, a great trail for families to ride in the spring, summer or fall. And the surface is crushed limestone, which makes it suitable for any type of bicycle. A must for nature lovers, the Pine Creek Rail Trail takes bikers past a wide variety of wildlife, including nesting bald eagles.
